A little bit of information about me
My fascination and love of powerful skies with rich landscapes dates from my childhood in Northumberland.

After gaining a B.A Hons degree in textile Design from Nottingham Trent University I initially pursued a design career. This experience taught me the importance of colour & space in a commercial world but also my desire to be free to paint.

In the late 80's I spent time in Canada soaking up the vast landscape, pure air & a good life!
On returning to the UK I enjoyed teaching art in secondary education and since 1998 I have painted full-time.

My current body of work seeks to explore the feel of unchallenged space and deep interwoven colours to form strong and often abstract landscapes.

I exhibit annually in the North Bristol & Clifton Artists Trail, and regularly in the South West. (See exhibitions & galleries page)
